Regional Youth Conference in Belgrade – #Weneedmore

Partners Albania as one of the implementing partners of Youth Bank Hub for Western Balkans & Turkey participated in the Regional Youth Conference organized in Belgrade, on November 19th, 2019.

This conference which brought together the five participating countries’ government representatives, EU institutions representatives, youth and other relevant CSOs, was dedicated to promoting the development of youth policy in the Western Balkans and Turkey and presenting examples of good practice.

Ramadan Sopoti, Project Manager at Partners Albania, facilitated the panel “Regional perspective of the youth policy” and presented the findings for #2 indicators of YPI, Youth Unemployment rate & Young people in prison.

 

Among the fruitful networking between participants, the conference provided:

  • The presentation of the Youth Participation Index.
  • 5 Inspirational stories of 5 passionate young people.
  • Representatives from public institutions from #Serbia, #Albania #NorthMacedonia#Turkey, and #Montenegro,  had the chance to share thoughts about youth participation on a national and local level in the region.
  • The regional perspective of the youth policy.
