LëvizAlbania is a project that aims to strengthen the local democracy in Albania through the engagement of civil society actors and individuals as the champions of democracy. It is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by a consortium of three successful Albanian organizations: Open Society Foundation for Albania, Partners Albania for Change and Development and Co-PLAN.

In support of LevizAlbania, in order to address the needs of beneficiaries and interested applicants in the project’s Calls, Partners Albania offers a wide assistance program online and onsite, supporting networking in territories larger than those in which CSOs operate. Partners Albania assists these organizations to better tailor their action plans in order to achieve planned results.

Youth Movement – A New Page for Local Communities is another initiative of Partners Albania’s within LevizAlbania. This four-year project aims to create a movement of young people across Albania, by educating them with a sense of voluntarism, activism, and responsibility, as well as strengthening the relationships between youth and local communities towards a stronger democracy. During 4 years, PA will organize in 12 main cities of Albania, 24 camps with high school students. The participating youngsters will be trained on how to identify and develop grassroots initiatives. Youth Speak out will be activities in TEDX format, to promote activism and create role models from youngsters to their peers. In these events with the participation of leading stakeholders at the local level, young people will share the success stories of their initiatives.
