In the framework of the EYSET project, a 3-hour online seminar will be organized, complemented by an online preparation of approximately 6 hours.

The seminar is intended for young people 18 to 35 years old who are eager to learn about the topic, whether or not they have a previous business/project idea.

The aim of the seminar is to support young people in creating sustainable, smart and accessible products, services, and processes in the tourism value chain by exploiting social entrepreneurship through the development of business plan ideas. Young people will learn the basics of what they need to become a social entrepreneur (main concepts, required skills and business plan creation). After this seminar, they will know what a social entrepreneur is, you will be able to identify the skills and attitudes needed to be an entrepreneur and you will elaborate a simple business plan to present your business idea or project.

The maximum number of participants for the country is 4, therefore the first come first served principle will be applied.  You can apply either as an individual or as a group, but only one representative from the group can attend the online seminar.

WHAT is AFTER THE SEMINAR?

After the seminar, there is an online competition for business plans that are developed during this activity. The best three projects will be awarded a trip to Brussels, where they will have the opportunity to present their idea to relevant stakeholders.

The seminar structure will be as below:

Preparation Phase (10 to 20 July): we will send material to the selected participants to prepare them for the seminar.

The seminar: a three-hour seminar on July 21st, from 10:30 to 13:30 CET.

Follow-up (optional): For those who want to ask questions about their business plan, a follow-up phase is planned from 24 to 28 July.

Deadline for presenting your business plan to the contest: 18 August.

Start of the voting period (competition): 1 September.

Results of the competition: 15 September.
