Partners Albania invites young social entrepreneurs, belonging to the age group of 18-30 years old, to participate in the training program “Social Enterprises Management and Social Impact Measurement” and in the following study visits.

The program consists of a 5-day training where 15 young social entrepreneurs will learn more about social entrepreneurship, gain knowledge to develop and improve different aspects of their social enterprises and find solutions to some of the challenges they are facing, to build sustainable social enterprises with a significant social impact.

The training aims to introduce the latest developments in social entrepreneurship and encourage young social entrepreneurs to change and improve their social activity, supporting them at each stage of their entrepreneurial journey.

At the end of the training, each of the participants will have the opportunity to participate in 1 of 5 study visits to be organized in social enterprises in Albania, Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

The methodology has been developed as part of the activities of the WISEs4YOUTH project.

PROGRAM

I. TRAINING

If you are a young social entrepreneur, who has founded a social enterprise or who is in the first steps of starting up a social enterprise, facing the first difficulties, and want to:

• increase your knowledge of the operational and financial management of social enterprises;
• reformulate and review your concept of social entrepreneurship;
• refresh knowledge and deepen your understanding of social entrepreneurship, to see it from a different perspective and context;
• test or reformulate your business model;
• learn about the legal framework of social enterprises in Albania and the process for obtaining social enterprise status; and
• measure the social impact of your social enterprise, and discover new marketing tools to present your business and its impact on society;

II. STUDY VISIT

At the end of the training, each of the participants will have the opportunity to participate in 1 of 5 study visits organized in each of the partner countries of the WISEs4Youth project, giving all participants the opportunity to visit social enterprises and exchange experiences with social entrepreneurs from Balkan countries and beyond.

APPLICATION PROCESS

All interested social entrepreneurs are invited to apply by sending the completed Application Form (download below), the Curriculum Vitae, and the document specified in the application, (if applicable), to the e-mail address esherifaj@partnersalbania.org, by 20 March 2023.

The number of participants is limited, therefore early applications which meet the criteria defined in the call will be selected.

Selected participants will be notified by email by 21 March, regarding the venue and detailed agenda of the activity.

* For participants traveling from other cities to Tirana, reimbursement of transportation expenses will be offered, upon demonstration of a public transportation Ticket. As part of the program, lunch will be provided.
