The fourth live crowdfunding event “Giving Circle” we organized on the evening of June 13th, was an emotional and powerful gathering where people came together to support social causes. Passionate individuals shared the stories of the communities they aimed to help. Attendees were deeply moved by the vivid visuals and heartfelt presentations.

Inspired by the powerful messages, people pledged their support, with real-time updates displayed on a large screen. Donations from various individuals and institutions range from monetary contributions to offers of professional services and volunteer work.

The event’s success exceeded expectations, demonstrating the power of collective action and compassion. Again, this year the total amount collected of 𝟐,𝟓𝟏𝟏,𝟖𝟕𝟗 Lek exceeded the set objective of 900,000 Lek in total, reconfirming what we have seen in the previous Giving Circle events, civic awareness and solidarity towards communities in need.  It left a lasting impression on all involved, reinforcing the belief that by working together, we can address social issues and bring about positive change.  The live crowdfunding event showcased the incredible capacity for empathy and transformation within each individual, leaving a profound impact on the communities benefiting from the donations. The contributions continue in support of the three social causes.

The representatives of implementing organizations expressed their gratitude and shared how the donations would directly impact the lives of the communities they serve.

Twenty-five children with special needs will receive therapeutic services to develop life skills and integrate into normal life. The initiative is undertaken by Global Care Albania.

“Shebenik-Jablanica National Park” will be a more attractive place for both local and foreign tourists, as young volunteers will place benches and tables, information boards, as well as raise awareness on keeping the park clean. The initiative is undertaken by Soek-In, Youth Center Librazhd.

“Marigo Posio” Park in Vlora will turn into a green, relaxing, vibrant recreational space that fosters social cohesion and serves the entire community, including the elders of Vlora, where they can spend time in a qualitative way, while also incorporating a playground for children to promote intergenerational solidarity. The initiative is undertaken by CELIM Albania.
