Partners Albania organized on November 16th, 2023 the international conference “Changes in civic space and the resilience of civil action”.

Representatives of state institutions, the donor community in the country, international experts, and over 120 participants, including representatives of civil society organizations and activists from all over the country, discussed the resiliency of CSOs and the significance of this endeavor for the sector’s long-term sustainability, particularly when confronted with challenges arising from shifts in civic spaces.

As part of the conference, were shared insights and experiences gained from the implementation of the RESILIENCY+ initiative from organizations in the country, region, and more broadly at the global level.

Distinguished experts and representatives from civil society organizations provided valuable perspectives on how the resilience-building process impacts the organizational landscape and discussed internal and external challenges that organizations encounter.

Representatives of governing institutions, the Assembly, and the donor community brought their perspectives on what they can do to provide effective cooperation and support to CSOs and activists.
