The Monitoring Matrix on Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development, Country Report for Albania presents the findings from the monitoring of practical and legal framework for the development of civil society, around three areas – each divided by sub-areas: (1) Basic Legal Guarantees of Freedoms; (2) Framework for CSOs’ Financial Viability and Sustainability; (3) Government – CSO Relationship.

The monitoring is based on the Monitoring Matrix on Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development (CSDev) developed by Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN) and European Center for Non-profit Law (ECNL). It is part of a series of country reports covering Western Balkans countries and Turkey. The monitoring in Albania is conducted by Partners Albania.
