Youth Participation Index – Regional Monitoring Report of Political, Social and Economic Participation of Youth 2022
28/Feb/24
The Youth Participation Index was developed as a concrete tool for decision-making on policies and programs affecting youth. Policymakers, youth organizations, and other advocates for youth issues can use the index to gauge the current state and areas for improvement. Looking back to 2016, when the Youth Participation Index was first created, regular development and publishing of the Index have enabled us to monitor progress in youth participation in respective countries through the years.
Each of the participating countries, Albania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Turkey, has its pattern of progress and challenges. YPI enables comparison between them to identify common challenges and possible solutions.
